Description
There once was a girl called Kay
Who proudly spoke up and would say
of science and art, being true to your heart,
and her humor would brighten the day
There once was a girl called Terry
Who although pithy and merry
Was a quiet sort, didn’t really consort
Her pride and opinions she’d bury
One day the two had a chat
Music this, and chemistry that,
And the one who was shy
Found that with each reply,
Culture and science are the best kind of eclat.
So if you feel like hiding away
And convos are kept at bay
Show your pride from inside
Be real, bona fide,
Though it might sound cliche
It’s right and okay
I know, ‘cuz I’ve tried
To verse two, go and vide
The point just is, thank you Kay!
I’ll keep prose here to a minimum, simply to apologize for the kitschy rhyming and an unconvoluted “Thanks for being awesome!” to you, KayVeeDee! You’re cool beans, girl.
not to ruin anything, but I’m positive that music box is playing “Video Killed the Radio Star” XD
And faved it. ;_;
Sorry!
Are those your watercolor brushes?
They fool me everytime! They are so beautiful!
And your poem was touching.
Kay is a lovely person.
